Restrictions implemented at the Mani Ashini Clinic

Public Advisory – March 18, 2020

The health and safety of Labrador-Grenfell Health patients and staff continues to be our priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, to limit public exposure to potential risk for residents of Sheshatshiu and North West River, Labrador-Grenfell Health is imposing restrictions at the Mani Ashini Clinic until further notice.

Walk-in services are temporarily suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. Only scheduled appointments will be available at the clinic.

If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment at the Mani Ashini Clinic, we encourage you to call (709) 497-8331.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have come in contact with someone who has:

 Fever, cough or difficulty breathing

To help reduce the spread of illness, please:

  • Wash your hands often.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes.
  • Avoid touching nose, eyes and mouth.
  • Stay at home if you are sick.
  • Keep a minimal distance of 2 metres between people (social distancing).
