Labrador-Grenfell Health encourages residents to get a flu shot

Public Service Announcement – November 6, 2019

On October 21, 2019, Labrador-Grenfell Health began its Seasonal Influenza Immunization Clinics across the region. In just the first two weeks, over 8,300 people got a flu shot, protecting themselves and their loved ones against the communicable disease.

If you haven’t already received a flu shot, now is a great time to do so! Clinics continue to take place throughout the month of November. Find a clinic near you at www.lghealth.ca/flu-prevention.

We would also like to thank all Labrador-Grenfell Health staff who have been working hard to make this possible. With the commitment from staff and our communities, we can surpass the 9,674 people who received flu shots in 2018.
