Gifts that will be accepted include:
- Non-perishable food items – including items that have a long shelf-life and do not require refrigeration. Food items must be unopened sealed/ packaged.
Gifts that will not be accepted include:
- Large and/ or heavy items
- Perishable food items
- Opened, unsealed food items
- Flowers/ items with strong or allergy inducing scent (ex: Lillies and Baby’s Breath)
Please ensure all items are marked with name of patient/ resident and location for delivery. Please sanitize gifts by disinfecting the outside of the package prior to drop-off. To ensure that physical distancing requirements are met, please call the facility/ unit to arrange drop-off.
Labrador-Grenfell Health staff are contacting families to advise them of these temporary changes.
