Update on COVID-19 in St. Anthony

Public Advisory – April 4, 2020

On April 3, a healthcare worker at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital tested positive for COVID-19.  All contacts have been identified and quarantined and are being tested through the assessment and testing centre.

Labrador-Grenfell Health continues to work with staff to ensure the delivery of safe patient care during this difficult time.  We are committed to implementing safety measures such as visitor and entrance restrictions, appropriate use of personal protective equipment and screening all persons entering the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital.

Labrador-Grenfell Health continues to monitor staff resources to ensure service delivery which may result in changes to how care is delivered within the hospital.

We would like to thank the public for their outstanding support and the continued adherence to Public Health directives. We understand this is a difficult time and want to reassure you that the health and safety of residents in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region continues to be our priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
