    • Hair stylists can provide in-facility services.*
    • Volunteers are welcome.*
    • Group activities (except activities that involve sharing food) can occur, following public health guidelines. Residents of a unit/wing/floor can eat together without physical distancing.
    • Residents may leave the home for essential shopping, banking, medical appointments, outings, or family home visits/meals. Residents are encouraged to avoid interactions with large groups of people and to limit gatherings to the people on their list of visitors. It is important to continue to follow public health guidelines (including masks).

*Service providers (like hair stylists) and volunteers must be fully vaccinated and follow all public health guidelines when in a long-term care facility.

COVID-19 Screening

Following provincial government and public health guidelines, anyone entering a Labrador-Grenfell Health facility will be screened for COVID-19 through a series of questions.

Staying connected with family and friends as an in-patient or resident of a care facility is important for overall wellbeing. If in-person visitation isn’t an option for you, please talk to your care team about virtual visitation.

Visitation restrictions for specific facilities and/or units may change in response to COVID-19 activity.
