Changes to hospital entrances

Public Notice – June 30, 2020

The health and safety of Labrador-Grenfell Health patients and staff continues to be our priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Labrador-Grenfell Health is advising the public that effective June 30, 2020, the following entryways will be accessible to the public for services:

Before 7:30 p.m.

After 7:30 p.m.

  • Labrador West Health Centre
  • Emergency Department entrance
  • Emergency Department entrance
  • Labrador Health Centre
  • Main entrance
  • Emergency Department entrance
  • Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital
  • Main entrance (Rotunda)
  • Emergency Department entrance

Labrador-Grenfell Health continues to have screeners at these entryways between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. who will be asking questions and directing flow. Please respect social distancing measures, answer questions and follow instructions provided. After 7:30 p.m., the Emergency Department staff will be available to support you.

We encourage the public to call ahead before visiting our facilities, including visits to the Emergency Department.

These restrictions are necessary to ensure appropriate screening and safety measures are taken for the public and staff to limit the spread of respiratory illness, including COVID-19.
